Laura Kelly has a BS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a MA from the CA School of Professional Psychology. In years past she has worked in the field of disability advocacy promoting standards for accessible housing and public spaces. Currently Laura is writing a memoir about her 11 years of sexual abuse from her father and the psychological effect that had on the person she became. If you ask Laura what her greatest accomplishment is, she will say it was helping two baby boys become fine young men. Both of her sons are now independent, self-confident, happily married to lovely women. Given Laura’s own upbringing in a dysfunctional incest family, with no role models to guide her, this is no small achievement. When not found in her analyst’s office, you can find Laura writing, reading, gardening or cooking at home, or out at the theater or dancing.
